The Fulfillment Hiring Process
What can be expected at a hiring event?
Qualified candidates will be invited normally via email to attend an Amazon Hiring Event in their area. At the event, you will learn about Amazon’s unique culture as well as why Amazon is a great place to work! In addition, these events provide a clearer understanding of the Fulfillment Associate position by providing key aspects of the role. Lastly, candidates will leave the events with a clear understanding of next steps to take in their career path
How long does the hiring process take?
For Existing Fulfillment Centers:
If you are going to be working in a position in an existing Amazon Fulfillment Center, the hiring process will take around 4 to 6 weeks until new hire orientation. However, you will be kept informed all the way.
For New Fulfillment Centers:
If you are offered a job in a new Amazon Fulfillment Center that is still under construction, it might take several weeks or months before new hire orientation. However, you will be kept up to date all the way.
What should you wear to an interview?
When you go for an interview it is suggested that you follow the dress code policy. The dress code is intended to allow comfort, while maintaining safety, security, and individuality. Associates should wear casual, comfortable and respectable clothing. For your safety, you must wear flat, rubber-soled shoes that fully enclose your foot. Shoes with rounded soles or platform heels (ex. Shape Ups) are not allowed in the Fulfillment Centers. Lastly, for your safety, your hair must be kept above your shoulders while in a fulfillment center.
If I have any certifications, should I take them to an interview?
You are not required to bring your certifications to the hiring event, however, if you feel it is relevant and would like to do so, you are more than welcome.
Do I need a resume?
A resume is not required. If you are selected for an in-person interview, you may be asked to bring one with you.

Amazon always believes that associates should earn and take vacations on a regular basis for their personal well-being and continued high performance. All non-seasonal associates working 20 or more hours per week quickly accrue vacation time during each pay period. Amazon also provides all non-seasonal associates who are expected to work more than 20 hours per week with paid personal time.
